Healthy Office Snacks for those on the Go

Healthy Office Snacks for those on the Go

When it's not quit lunch time or you're heading into a long mid-morning meeting without a chance for a break, what should you do for that grumbling stomach? Here's some of the best at work snacks you can go for.

Almonds

About 35 almonds consumed as a daily snack for four weeks have shown to help suppress hunger. High in fiber, protein and healthy unsaturated fats, they contribute to your satiety, or your feeling of fullness.

Yogurt Parfait

A Greek yogurt parfait with granola and berries. Adding a the different items adds fun and makes it taste great. And here again it's high in protein, calcium, fiber, and antioxidants.

Can of Tuna with Crackers

It has the perfect blend of carbs, protein, and fat to keep your energy up and your brain working for the rest of your work day.

Blueberries and mini Babybel Cheese

Perfect combo of sweet and tart with the bite of the cheese, light mozzarella works best. The berries are high in fiber, antioxidants, and hydrating, while the cheese adds protein. And the Babybel is safe outside of the fridge for a few hours so it's a great desk snack.

Veggies with hummus

Obvious choice here. Fiber rich and packed with plant-based protein and fiber. And there are plenty of flavors of hummus to choose from, so there is something for all.

Italian Taralli crackers and string cheese

The protein from the cheese and the carbs from the crackers are the perfect combo to get you through the rest of the afternoon. The flavor (of the taralli crackers) is so good that you can't help but enjoy them.
